sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6 June, 1946. He is the older son of Francesco "Frank" Stallone Sr., who was an Italian hairdresser, aswell being Jackie Stallone Sr., an astrologer and dancer. He has an older brother named Frank Stallone, who is an actor and musician. Sylvester was left with a paralysis on the left lower part of his face as a result of complications that occurred during birth. The actor now sports his famous "snarling" expression, as well as a slightly slurred voice. Stallone was a part of his childhood in foster care as a result of the volatile relationship between parents and children. They divorced later. Stallone was a drama student at American College in Switzerland, before transferring to the University of Miami. Prior to completing his degree in the fall of 1964, he quit his school and moved to New York City in order to explore acting as a profession.
