KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer that gained notoriety after she won American Idol's 2002 talent show. Clarkson grew up living in Burleson, Texas, a suburb in Fort Worth, where her singing talent was initially recognized by the school's teacher of choir when she was just a seventh-grade student. Following her graduation from high school Clarkson moved to Los Angeles to try to get into the entertainment industry. In 2002, after returning to Texas Clarkson was a contestant on the first season of The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol, a singing show that allowed the audience to vote for their favourite performer. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's stunning personality, voice, and humor. Clarkson was awarded $1 million and also a contract recording deal with RCA to be her reward.
