Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She was born on a south London council estate, and at the age of 14, attended The Brit School. She attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. While at the school, she was a part-time actor in several performances on stage, such as The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started acting in Storm Damage. Since then, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Her debut film as a performer came from the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. After this success, Madekwe was cast as Elisha on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared on six of the episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the Bambi part on the ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in two series, 2 and 3. Madekwe played the lead role on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedy released in 2008. A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with The drama The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes prior to being removed from The CW. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she appeared as a guest in the opening episode of season 3. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with an extended family. Ashley Leggat was born to Roy and Patty along with her three older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram as well as Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley had never been able to walk. She danced. So when she was two and a half when she was a little older, she joined Baby Ballet. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley was a top competitor in divisions of tap, jazz hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated from high school. Ashley won the best soloist prize at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just some.
