Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for A-levels. When Coleman was asked about her Emmerdale character, she said that she regrets that she did not have a traditional university experience. Coleman was at High School, was part of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They presented the show Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. An award was presented to her for her show, and the production received an enthusiastic reception. While auditioning for drama school, Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two awards. The British Soap Awards she was awarded Best Newcomer. Also, during the National Television Awards she was named the The Most Popular Newcomer. At the 2009 British Soap Awards she was nominated for the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman is nominated as Best Actress by the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat announced at a Doctor Who press conference on 21 March that Coleman has replaced Karen Gillan as the companion of the Doctor after Arthur Darvill left the series she would play the role of Matt Smith. Moffat has decided to put her in the role since she seemed to have the strongest chemistry with Smith. Additionally, she was more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the world of film since 1987. She has however been more well-known on television rather than in movies. Out of all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows like Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two that are the most notable. The former even earned her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and gave her a chance to explore her creativity in music. Eva is a businesswoman, and also an actress. Eva has three husbands, and one child born from the third.
