Born on the 18th of October 1984, American Alpine Skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired has won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics. She is the only female skier to hold the second highest Super Score. She is among the best skiers around and also is the most loved american skier. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup alpine skier in America who goes by the name Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. There are 4 overall World Cup victories. She is a renowned and long-running track record of success in American sport. She's among only six women in history to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. All told, she has achieved 82 World Cup championships. An elite skier and one of the most popular ski racers has taken a decision to step down following the World Championships which take place in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues have led to her to become a four-time World Cup Overall Champion to make the decision to retire. Her retirement was announced through social media. My final race of my professional career is scheduled to be in Re Sweden next week, at the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
