Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. Both LeAnnekymes and Krauss were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born 23rd July 1971, is an American artist and performer. As a teenager, she made her debut in the music scene and was a winner of local contests as early as 10 years of age and recording her debut album at 14 years old. She signed with Rounder Records in 1985 and recorded her first self-titled album on the label in the year 1987. In 1989, she was invited to be a part of Alison Krauss & Union Station who she is a part of.
